PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY VIRGINIA
The population of Prince William County is about 350,000 with density of about 1100 persons per square mile. The density is primarily in the eastern areas along North/South Interstate Route 95. With new homes offered in the towns of Bristow, Gainesville and Haymarket along East/West Route 66 in Western Prince William County. Growth was concentrated in the Eastern part of the county until about 1998 when the Western areas
were targeted for residential development. Smart builders and developers invested in residential housing in the areas along Route 66 to benefit from access to the high tech and Internet job expansion in the Dulles corridor and the Tysons Corner area.
